MN Pro Paintball Hosts First Annual Challenge for Children’s Big Game to Benefit Children’s Hospital and Clinics of Minnesota “Children’s Hospital and Clinics is a world-class organization that is doing amazing and important work right here in the Twin Cities,” said Matt Ames, company founder, MN Pro Paintball. “My on-going personal relationship with their cardiovascular program has given me a unique appreciation of the care they provide. MN Pro Paintball and the Dead Squad are thrilled to be raising funds and awareness of their commitment to the community.” Challenge for Children’s is a scenario-based, big game suitable for all levels of paintball players ages 10 and older, from first-timers to experienced veterans. Players will participate in an action-packed day of team-focused, objective-based paintball with an estimated 250-350 players. “Paintball is an exciting way to be active in the outdoors and big games are an ideal way to participate in paintball, especially for newcomers,” explained Ames. “The combination of MN Pro Paintball’s high-quality woodsball facility with the expertise of the Dead Squad team members makes the Challenge for Children’s an engaging and enjoyable event, regardless of a player’s experience or skill level.” Game participants will maneuver through a combination of five of MN Pro Paintball’s seven fields that are widely regarded as some of the finest in the region. From fully-wooded areas offering ample cover to more open-range, watering hole and desert settings, the terrain provides unlimited opportunities for intense action. Strategically-placed trenches, bunkers, hills and valleys are perfect for advancing or defending your team’s position during the day’s missions. MN Pro Paintball’s Challenge for Children’s will take place at the MN Pro Paintball Park, 22554 Texas Ave, Lakeville, Minn. The entry fee for pre-registered players is $25, registration on the day of the event is $35. Pre-registration closes Thursday, August 27. Entry includes admission to the game and unlimited air fills. Rental packages are available for $10 and field paint will be sold onsite.
