KEE Action Sports announces that Empire Paintball has launched a national billboard campaign aimed at driving new participation. The billboards are centered around the Free ROOKIE Pass advertising campaign, previously known as Great Day of Play (GreatDayofPlay.net). The campaign provides free entry and rental gear for new players (players must purchase paint) at participating fields nationwide.
Billboards are already up in Northern New Jersey and Los Angeles, with a Dallas billboard starting in October. Each billboard campaign will run for 8 weeks and Empire Paintball has plans to continue the program in other regions over the next year. “As an industry, we have long talked about a “Got Milk” type of campaign to promote paintball play. Well, that day is here and now, and we are proud to put our money and our efforts in supporting the fields, the stores, and the sport nationally,” said Jason A. Taitano, VP of Marketing. The Billboard campaign comes on the heels of Empire Paintball’s participation in the Scout Jamboree (50K+ attendees) and Scout Quest100 (15K+ attendees) where thousands of Free ROOKIE Passes where handed out.
