January 27, 2009 – Loyalhanna, PA – Supporting paintball and its players has been a goal of Smart Parts, Inc. since the company began in 1989. Supporting a great new tradition – the gathering of the paintball industry's most legendary and influential figures for a weekend of fun on and off the field – is an easy commitment for the company to make.

Smart Corps Factory Team captain Sean Scott to act as General at the second annual Living Legends paintball scenario game on May 29-31, 2009.

“Seeing the turn-out of both players and industry rivals at the 2008 game was a real blast,” said Sean Scott, who is returning to serve in the role of General in 2009. “We had 700 players at the game last year and are expecting upwards of 1000 for 2009, we can't wait!”

The encore event will be played at CPX Sports in Joliet, Illinois on May 30th and 31st 2009, the weekend after Memorial Day. CPX Sports is a legendary paintball field in its own right – designed and built by theme park and motion picture designers, each of its themed fields boast some of the most elaborate obstacles and detail ever seen in paintball. The terrain includes everything from a downtown city complete with paved streets, abandoned cars and two-story buildings, to burned-out, bombed-out urban wreckage, western forts and a South American temple with its own subterranean idol chamber.

Opening festivities for Living Legends 2009 will be held on the 29th prior to the game start. Legendary scenario game organizer, Kerry “Viper” Rosenberry of the Lone Star State based Viper Scenarios will be producing the game. Kee Action Sports will be the paint supplier for the weekend while the Discipline Lords, a well known professional scenario reffing team, will be on hand to act as the referees for the event.

“The Living Legends game of 2008 went from idea to game in only 3 months,” said Viper, “but the results were fantastic. While we are always trying to push the envelope with regard to new scenario concepts, we are just as excited to be getting in touch with our roots, and the roots of the sport. This year we have some interesting plans, and a theme that we think everyone will really enjoy. We'll be releasing more information very soon."

On top of meeting the living legends of the sport and two great days of scenario gaming, major paintball companies will be sponsoring games and contests on Friday with tremendous prizes at stake – watch for details as the game nears.
